I fear I might have a problem. Since I have arrived in San Sal I have learned a lot about myself. I like to say it is my creative side. My mom would probably call it frivolous. My dad would likely say I am a princess. Call it what you want to call it, I have a shopping problem.
The first day I arrived in paradise I found a batch of hangers lying on my bed welcoming me to my new home. Problem #1: There were only 5. Jokingly I told "Mr. Jon" (Nick I think you will appreciate that) that I didn't have enough hangers. I came home one afternoon to find 5 more! Embarrassed I told him I still didn't have enough and shyly admitted my problem. Next day, 20 hangers arrive...one batch of 10 for me and one batch of 10 for Marge. I stole Marge's other 10. So, today as we headed to the grocery store Mr. Jon joked about how he had to get Marge some hangers. I told him that he didnt need to get them and I would get her some. When we reconvened after paying he said, "did you think that Marge might overpack too?" Nope....20 more for me and 10 for her.
Now I might need some feedback on this one. I am feeling quite overwhelmed with this new information about myself. Do I have a problem? I wouldn't call it overpacking. Actually I marvel at how much I was able to get in only two bags. Sadly, this has left me a bit lost and sad. I went shopping today only to find wonderful things. Mr. Jon was there and all I felt was guilt that if I bought anything else I would have to ask him to take me to the supermarket for more hangers.
princess. you do not have a problem. In fact I'd say you have an ABILITY. An ability to fit SO much stuff in only 2 bags that weighed less than 100 lbs. PURE GREATNESS. Also, this isn't really an ability as it just your genetics...but you can't help it if everything you try on looks good on you...I mean, pretty much the clothes are FORCING you to buy them!
ReplyDeletelove you =)
