Yesterday I experienced my first tropical storm. Tropical Storm Agatha killed around 82 people yesterday in El Sal and Guatemala. It was a sight my friends! Around 3:00 p.m. I dragged myself out of the casa to eat Asian food and watch the storm. At 7:00 p.m. I headed to my supervisors house to congratulate his daughter on graduating from high school. Then, I headed over to the coolest house I have ever seen. It is located in the tallest building in San Sal (probably El Salvador, too). They had the penthouse. 3 stories and decorated with the most amazing things. This couple has seen the world and picked up treats along the way! I cant describe my love for this house! The pictures hanging on the walls were collected from Africa and South America and millions of places in between. Their domestic servants (everyone has em here including me) cooked food on command and their table was topped with delicious desserts. The most amazing part of the house is a tie between two things. First, the incredible view overlooking el boqueron (the volcano) and a sea of lights representing the town I live in. Second, I loved their hookah table. Although I didn't partake, the hookah area was very inviting. It was completely full of pillows. Three benches surrounding a table were piled high with pillows collected from all over the world. And people just sat on top of them lounging.
If I had to pick a house to live in it would be this one. And even though I can't live there, it was definitely the house I want to be in next time tropical storm Agatha comes to town. Incredible!!
I'll put up pictures once I get them uploaded to my computer.
